Position: Dairy Herdsman
Full job description
Dairy Farm located near Osler, SK looking for a full-time herdsman/milker.
Shift would be Monday – Friday 4am-12pm. Every weekend would be off, unless there are shifts that need to be covered.
Duties include working with cattle, treating cows, taking care of all cow’s health, will be required to do morning milking’s of the cows, driving skid steer, and must have a good mind of dealing with animals.
Individual must be punctual and motivated, must be able to work alone and in a team setting as you will most often be working in a team setting.
Should be willing to take instructions and have a desire to learn new skills and open to change and variety, as well as the ability to figure issues out on your own and deal with them according to what is best in the situation.
Must have a reliable vehicle to get to the job, and a valid class 5, clean driver’s license.
