Job Description

Our client is looking for teams of enthusiastic people to take on the role of Tomato Pickers for their commercial farm located in Turner Beach, Tasmania. Commencing as soon as possible and an ongoing position, the role sees you picking tomatoes ready for market.

You will be needed for 2 days a week (Monday and Thursday).

This is a busy job but will provide you with great experience and a fun team environment. Full training is provided to all new candidates along with weekly pay transferred directly to your account. This is a piece rate role, which means you determine how much you earn!

Your Skills & Experience

You must be physically capable, without previous injuries or allergies and be committed to long term employment. We are looking for people who are strong team players and are focused on maintaining a culture of safety for yourself and others. To be considered for the role, please ensure you can prove the following:

Manual harvesting of tomatoes
Standing for long periods
Manual handling and lifting of 10-12 kgs
Other duties as requested.

As a representative of some of these employers, Bismark is currently searching for a part-time (approx. 30 hours per week) Labourer/Order Picker with current Forklift licence for an established and well-respected business. This role is unique to the whole sale produce industry, with a variety of tasks and opportunities, which requires a unique and motivated individual to fit the job requirements.
