We have a fantastic opportunity to recruit a Farm Worker at our Baulker Broiler Farm in Newark, Nottingham. We are looking for an enthusiastic individual who doesn’t mind working hard and getting their hands dirty! The successful candidate would have a ‘can do’ attitude.

You will be part of a small team working 44 hours over 6 days per week. A flexible approach will be necessary as this role will necessitate working at weekends with some early morning and late evening work.

A knowledge of Poultry would be advantageous but not essential as full training will be given. Duties include: · Preparing sheds for chick arrival · Feeding the birds · Daily health inspections · Spreading shavings as required · Assist with minor farm maintenance

This role duties are to assist the Farm Management Team and learn all functions of the management of a Company Broiler farm including all aspects of husbandry – caring for poultry, ensuring a clean and tidy farm, monitor ventilation, heating, feed, water and lighting patterns within agreed guidelines and any general farm duties ensuring that stock produced is of the highest possible standard and meets the required specification in terms of weight, quality, welfare etc.
