Duties
Tasks
- Mount underground wiring and cable televisions
- Install, change and fix electrical controls and panel boxes
- Keep maintenance records and documents
- Splice, sign up with and link wires
- Layout and construct low voltage (30 to 750V) multiphase service for solitary or multimeter installations
- Examination and measure voltage, lots, ground faults stability of circuits
- Troubleshoot and isolate faults
- Set up surface mount and/or above cables
- Instruct apprentices
- Install power generation, stand-by power generation and power conditioning systems
- Quote costs and materials
- Remodel electrical systems in household and commercial frameworks
- Conduct preventive maintenance programs
- Read and analyze blueprints, maps, illustrations and specifications
