Flexibility to be available for temporary On-Call work

What will you do?

You will start your day at the warehouse, sorting and preparing today’s shipments
You will load and drive a Canada Post vehicle

You will then spend most of your day outside, delivering mail and parcels on foot or by car to customers on your route
You will return to the warehouse to unload the mail and parcels received on the day for later delivery

Qualifications

What should you have?

Valid Class 5 or Class G driver’s license with a safe driving record of at least 3 years (driver’s summary required)
Physical ability to lift mail items weighing up to 22.7 kg (50 lb) and carry items weighing up to 15.9 kg (35 lb) regularly throughout the day
Ability to work in all types of weather
Availability to be on demand
Ability to read, write and speak English and / or French
