Concerning Work on a “Floatel”

LandSea will offer lodging and worker catering for visitors travelling aboard the 650-passenger “Floatel,” the MV Isabelle. The Floatel is expected to run for a maximum of three years and will be permanently parked in Squamish, British Columbia.

Bridgemans, our customer, is a multinational supplier of maritime services and labour floatels. Early in 2024, their ship, the MV Isabelle, is scheduled to arrive in Canada.

The minimum maritime safety (Seafarers) certificates mandated by Transport Canada for the particular position must be held by every member of the crew on board the MV Isabelle.

The workforce is given lodging, complete meals, WIFI, and access to health and fitness centres while they are not on the job. We assist with transport and bookings to and from venues as needed, and we offer partial uniforms.

Concerning the Opportunity

There are six positions available right now for general assistants/dining room attendants.

The duties of this role include helping with food preparation and making sure the living, dining, and kitchen areas are always hygienic and tidy. Being able to follow instructions and being conscientious, attentive, and reliable are requirements for this role. It’s necessary to be familiar with kitchen appliances and have knife abilities.
